Great ambiance. The Cades Cove Smoked Sausage was not a good choice. Pick something other than the fries for a side. The Cat Fish was good. Waitress could not make change for cash, hopefully next time she can. Hope a second trip will change this review. Has potential to be something great.
Delightful place to eat at a completely unexpected location. It was a chilly day when we were there, but the porch was still open with clear plastic sheeting keeping most of the chill out. They have large infrared gas or propane heaters like you would see in a warehouse mounted to heat the porch too.The food was good and they were kid friendly with my three year-old twins. Seating is rather limited, and if you drive that far to eat you'll want to look around Amis while you wait for a table if it is full.
Great great great place. I have never eaten anything bad here all their food is great. The catfish is amazing. Great people also and nice atmosphere. It is a little off the beaten path but it is well worth the drive. If you never come here you will be missing one of the greatest places ever.
The first impression was one almost of wonder at the beauty of its location along Big Creek in the rolling hills of Hawkins County, Tennessee. Next, the open and warm welcoming from the staff followed by their gracious and friendly service. The Coup De Gra, the phenomenal fair as the menu is varied and has something for everyone to enjoy. When dining at Amis Mill Eatery you get much more than a meal, you enjoy a dining adventure that is second to none and head and shoulders above most.We highly recommend that you treat yourself and your loved ones to this wonderful, and delicious, dining experience. But beware! You'll be hooked into repeating the experience again and again.
Super nice and friendly place. Good variety of food choices. Beautiful river view. All staff and owner exta friendly.
